About Hallie, Certified Career Coach
 Finding the right job can be exciting, and sometimes very exasperating as well. I know, because "I've been there, done that".
I was lost after college. I jumped around from one job to another in a variety of fields, trying to find something that satisfied me. I know my parents were worried. Other people kept asking me what I wanted to do, but I couldn't answer them. I didn't know!
As I moved from job to job, I felt like all I was doing was identifying what I didn't want to do instead of what I did want.
It was all very frustrating.
Somewhere along the way, it dawned on me that I probably wasn't the only one trying to find a fulfilling career. Others were undoubtedly experiencing the same thing. That's when it hit me! This is what I wanted to do! I wanted to help others avoid the struggle I was going through, especially young adults who were going through a career transition. I wanted to be a Career Coach.
It took a few years, but I finally became a certified coach through the Coaches Training Institute. And I love it! I've found my passion.
In 2002, I established Authentically Speaking and since then, my practice has grown by leaps and bounds. This validated what I knew all along - that others were seeking to find that ideal job, that perfect career, that rewarding profession.
I live in Atlanta, Georgia with my husband Frank and son Vaughn. When I'm not helping clients in their career search, I'm out horseback riding or traveling.

About Darcy Holoweski - Associate Coach
 Darcy has traveled down several professional paths in her life, preparing her for the exciting work of career coaching. Her connection with the natural world motivated her to earn an ecology degree and work in the environmental education and research fields. Her passion for empowerment through education sparked a teaching degree and positions in adult education and career counseling. Meanwhile, Darcy traveled from the west coast to the east coast, from Tanzania to Brazil. During her work and travels, burning questions arose:
- Why do we expect the answers to just 'work themselves out' in our careers? Why not invest in discovering fulfilling work choices?
- What is a way that young people can explore career options, like the way subjects such as algebra and chemistry are studied?
- What are the options for someone who doesn't want to spend the day in a cubicle?
- Young people overflow with lofty goals after college. How can those ideals be realized rather than be squashed by the day-to-day reality of earning a living?
Working as a career coach enables Darcy to challenge these questions and to guide her clients in answering their own.
Currently, Darcy lives in Providence, RI, with her husband, Cooper. When she's not coaching, Darcy enjoys hiking, camping, and exploring the East Coast. She's also known to whip up her signature chocolate chip cheesecake for potlucks with friends. The unexpected adoption of her feisty cat, Eema, reminds her to relax and allow flow into her life.
